Picture your neighbors. You might think of the people living near you in your neighborhood, town, or state.
But we actually have many more neighbors across North America.
From space, you can see that the United States shares borders with Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. North America also includes Greenland, Central America, and the Caribbean. Together, these areas make up the world’s third-largest continent. Each region has its own special culture and traditions, but we all share the same history of how our land was formed about 200 million years ago.
