Picture your neighbors. Who are they? Maybe they are friends you play with. Or a nice family that lives in your apartment building.
But you actually have many more neighbors than just the people who live near you.
Think about looking at the United States from space. You’ll see neighbors all around us. Canada is to the north. Mexico is to the south. North America also includes Greenland, Central America, and the Caribbean islands.
They’re all part of the world’s third-biggest continent. A continent is a large piece of land on Earth. Each area has its own special culture and history. But as North Americans, we share a story. This story began 200 million years ago.
