The United States has a uniquely diverse population. Some of us are native to this very land. Many of us (or our forebears) come from Europe, from Asia, from Africa, from the Middle East, and from South America.
Despite these differences, we unite to form a single nation like no other on the planet. Our unshakable belief in the validity of our government is part of what holds us together. Even though we may not always agree with its leaders. The experiences and symbols we share are also part of this.
