What if water stopped flowing out of your home’s faucets? Suddenly, a resource you may have thought was endless is gone. Freshwater is a limited resource that we need to use wisely. That means not wasting it or polluting it.
Other resources are unlimited. We can use them freely because they’ll never run out. Wind, for example, is an unlimited resource. We can use it to create energy instead of using limited resources such as oil.
Working to save resources or to make them last longer is called conservation. We conserve resources when we use them wisely and keep our world clean and healthy. That way, we’ll always have the resources we need.
