Long, long before people lived in apartments and homes, they lived in caves.
Caves sheltered Ice Age hunters from bad weather. They protected people from woolly mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses, panthers, bison, and bears. Weapons and tools have been found in caves. They give us important clues about life some 15,000 years ago. So do the drawings left on the cave walls.
