We’ve made it to the West Coast states. Let’s hop in a car and go for a drive! You’ll find deserts and forests. You’ll find ancient trees. You’ll find towering mountains. You’ll find long, sandy beaches.
We’ll take the Pacific Coast Highway, or ”California 1,” part of the way. It stretches along the Pacific Ocean for about 656 miles. It starts in Orange County near Los Angeles and goes up to Mendocino County near San Francisco. It’s known as one of the most scenic drives in the country.
