We’ve made it to the West Coast states. Let’s hop in a car and go for a drive! You’ll find deserts, forests, ancient trees, towering mountains, and long, sandy beaches.
We’ll take the Pacific Coast Highway, or ”California 1,” part of the way. It stretches along the Pacific Ocean for about 656 miles, from Orange County near Los Angeles up to Mendocino County near San Francisco. It’s known as one of the most scenic drives in the country.
