Some insects are team players.
Ants live in big groups in a single nest. So do bees, wasps, and termites. Each nest works as a family group. Labor is divided up within a nest, and each member has a job. Nest mates that do different work may look very different. For example, the soldiers that protect the nest usually have a big head and jaws. These four groups of social insects also cooperate in feeding and taking care of the young.
