When you think of a friend, you probably think of someone you know. Someone you can count on. Someone you care for and who cares for you. Someone you can trust.
That’s not necessarily true of an ally. Yes, allies support each other. They act with and for each other. They may even stand up for each other and support similar causes. But they’re not necessarily loyal to each other in the same way friends are. How did Native Americans fit into this picture?
