Do elephants live in the desert? Yes, but only in a couple of places. Desert elephants live in the Namib and on the western edges of the Sahara.
They have big feet and long legs to help them walk long miles. They can go three to four days without drinking water. These elephants are great at finding water holes by digging with their trunks. They can find water even if they haven’t been in a place for over a year!
