Sumerians, Babylonians, and Assyrians shared the same basic religious beliefs.
They worshipped the same gods. Sometimes they used different names for them. They believed people were created to serve the gods. Gods looked and acted like people but had supernatural powers. Spirits (good and bad) and demons also affected the lives of humans.
