The executive branch has to enforce the laws Congress makes. This branch includes the president, the vice president, and the Cabinet. The Cabinet is the vice president and the heads of the 15 executive departments, who advise the president. The executive branch includes many other organizations. They include the Central Intelligence Agency, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the military. If you count the armed forces, more than 4 million people work for this branch.
