Cities were growing. The economy was booming. And life was changing in 1920s America.
The future was full of possibilities. New types of music swept the nation. As did new types of dress and new types of entertainment. America was moving past the pain and destruction of war by building tomorrow – road by road and skyscraper by skyscraper. Still, problems lurked in the ’20s, hinting that the rush of wealth might not last. For a time, though, the country sped forward.
