For most people, flying is the fastest, easiest, and sometimes the cheapest way to travel. But just over 100 years ago, anybody who talked about people flying in machines was considered weird or crazy. Most people thought flying machines were a fantasy. But not Orville and Wilbur Wright. The two bicycle-maker brothers from Dayton, Ohio, believed they could build a real flying machine. They knew it wouldn’t be easy. But they believed in themselves. They learned from their mistakes. They were a great team, and they succeeded where everyone else had failed.
