It’s after dinner on a school night. Your dad is watching the news while you read a comic book in your chair.
But your reading keeps getting interrupted by loud noises from the TV. The news shows angry people and scary events.
You begin to feel afraid. Your dad sees your worried face and turns off the TV. He asks what’s wrong. You tell him everything seems scary right now. He hugs you and says, “Don’t worry about those bad things on the news. There’s always hope, and things can get better.”
Life today can be confusing and scary. People face many problems. But we also have better tools than ever to fix these problems.
