A lot of people have a hero. Do you? Maybe it is a basketball player or a movie star. Maybe a family member or neighbor makes you want to dream big and be great.
The people in ancient Israel had many heroes. These men and women stood up for the Jews’ right to worship and live the way they wanted. They were warriors, judges, prophets, and poets. Some were even “regular” people who fought bravely for their beliefs.
