It’s the 1700s now. What was happening in the colonies?
As the colonies grew and matured, they wanted more freedom and control. But Britain limited what they could do. So the colonies called for revolution. In a revolution, people fight for a change in the government. The revolution led to independence, or freedom, from Britain, and a new government.
