We Americans have lots of freedoms. But with those freedoms come responsibilities, or duties. For example, we have the right to vote for, or elect, our leaders. But that means we have a responsibility to vote in elections.
We have the right to a fair trial, too. But that means we also have a responsibility to serve on a jury. Being a good citizen means exercising your rights and remembering your responsibilities.
