Look at their homes. Many rulers spent their country's treasure on jewels, thrones, crowns, and other luxuries. Some built huge palaces. But the best examples of royal luxury may not be homes for the living. They’re homes for the dead.
Egypt’s mighty pyramids are royal tombs. Other impressive royal graves are found in China and India. Still others are in Mayan ruins.
