Builders made beautiful structures for everyone to enjoy. Writers wrote their ideas about the world, and teachers taught others about their beliefs.
Ancient Greeks believed that people should have a say in government. In fact, the government of Athens was the world’s first democracy. It was similar in some ways to the government we have now in the United States!
