To look at a hyena, you might think you’re looking at a dog. Its stand-up ears are like the ears of many dogs. It has a face like a German shepherd’s. And its body is shaped very much like a dog’s. But hyenas aren’t dogs at all. They’re actually more closely related to cats than dogs. And their unusual features don’t stop there.
