How much can you see when you look into the sky? How far can you see? Without help of some kind, probably not that much and not that far. Not even if you have great eyesight!
Scientists use telescopes, satellites, and probes to see far into the universe. Telescopes, both on Earth and in space, use mirrors to make objects look nearer and bigger. Satellites orbit Earth and collect information. Probes travel to faraway places. Most probes fly by their targets, sending images back to Earth. A few land to get a closer look.
