Finding a job is never easy, not even back in the “good old days” of the distant past. Even if you’re Leonardo da Vinci, famous artist, it’s not easy.
So when Leonardo decided it was time to leave Florence for Milan in 1482, he wrote a long letter detailing his talents. He sent it to the powerful duke, Ludovico Sforza, hoping to get a job. Here’s part of the letter.
