Every second of every day, your body is working against gravity.
Just think about it. Gravity pulls everything down, but somehow blood defies gravity as it travels from the tips of your toes back up to your heart. And somehow you’re able to jump, hop, and stand up from a chair, all involving upward motion — against the pull of gravity. In some ways, your body does not work against gravity though. And over time, its pull takes a toll, causing changes you might not even notice from one day to the next.
