The first stop on our trip is not very far at all. In fact, the continent of North America is home to the United States.
If you flew south, you would hit the Sonoran Desert and then the green mountains of Mexico. If you flew north, you would see the mountains, valleys, and lakes of Canada. You might also see a lot of snow!
All three countries of North America share some of the same languages, religions, and food. But each country has its own customs, or ways of doing things.
