Where did you get your shirt? Where was it made? You may have bought your shirt at a store in your community. But it may have been made in a factory far away in another country.
Many communities around the world are interdependent. They depend on each other for buying and selling natural resources and manufacturing products. Manufactured products are goods made in factories.

Some products, such as coffee, go to factories to be processed some more. Others, such as shoes, go to stores. Many of these products may end up in your home or community!
