The Islands of Hawai`i
Hawai`i’s islands all came from volcanic eruptions. But today, each one is a unique place with its own special charms for the visitor.
As you explore Hawaii’s islands, think about which places you would most like to explore. This family-owned island is largely a sheep and cattle ranch. Its population is around 300, mostly native Hawaiians. Ni`ihau is also known as the Forbidden Island. Not long ago, only invited guests were allowed to go there.
